AG for tower battery theft

LEPHALALE — Trust Ndou (38) paid admission of guilt to an amount of R400 on a charge of theft of a tower battery.
According to Warrant Officer Frans Mokoena of Lephalale SAPS, he was facing charges of battery theft at Morebeng SAPS, but Sgt Makhalimela from Lephalale SAPS arrested him on Friday 7 April after information was received that he was in Lephalale. After his fingerprints were taken he was identified as the possible suspect.
Mokoena says the three other suspects also paid admission of guilt of R400 but they are still in Lephalale SAPS holding cells for being in the country illegally. Only Ndou’s fingerprints matched.
