STEENBOKPAN — On Monday 28 September, the 28-year-old Tumisang Molefe appeared in Lephalale Magistrate’s Court on a murder charge.
He was denied bail and the case was postponed to Monday 5 October for formal bail application. He will remain in lawful custody.
According to Warrant Officer Frans Mokoena, Lephalale SAPS spokesperson, it is alleged that Molefe killed his girlfriend by stabbing her in her neck with a knife on Friday 25 September. The incident happened around 23:00 at her house in Leseding Village, Steenbokpan.
The deceased leaves behind an 18-month-old child.
