MARAPONG — Age doesn’t matter when it comes to modelling, this was clearly seen when the cute little toddlers shook their bodies on the stage to show everyone what they’ve got.
A beauty pageant for 3-6 year olds was held by a Non – Profit Organisation (NGO) on Saturday 18 June in the Exxaro Hall, Marapong. The purpose for this event was to create consciousness about the importance of youth and education. “I held this event to let everyone realize how much intelligence young children hold within them” said Thelma, organizer of the event.
Beautiful certificates and prizes were handed out to the cuties.
The pageant was judged by Ethel Matlhala and Frans Seleka, who crowned little Thslego Mokobodi and Mosa Mothusi as Mr and Miss Marapong Crèche. Although beauty was the main purpose of the show, it wouldn’t have been the same without the beautiful poetry and dance performances by the little ones. This event was an incredible success and certainly raised the awareness of how important the youth is in a community.
