CANSA projects

LEPHALALE — CANSA Lephalale has held various fund-raising projects in the recent past, including pancake sales, Jail & Bail-project, Toktokkie project at the schools, Neon Night Walk, Shade of Pink Walk and other small projects.
CANSA sold pancakes at Lephalale Square and SPAR Lephalale during September and October 2017 and an amount of R8 939,08 was raised.
CANSA Lephalale were also present at the Swimming Gala held at Mogol Club Gala on 30 September. According to Nancy van Staden, CANSA Lephalale Community Mobiliser, the children learned about sun safety. CANSA volunteers also painted their faces and CANSA products were on sale. An amount of R1 221 was raised.
Chicken mayo buns were sold on 5 October and R530 was raised and a Jail & Bail project added R1 230 to their funds.
CANSA attended the VLU Bosveld Cuppa on 21 October where they sold CANSA products, had a raffle and sent a collection tin around; R1 671 were raised. They also held a Cuppa at Mediclinic Lephalale on 13 and raised R730.
They sold curry and rice at Srixzone as well as CANSA products, hairspray and face paint on 14 October and
R1 293 was raised.
Toktokkie was at Fort Asjas Pre-Primary on 20 October where the toddlers’ hair was sprayed in shades of pink. R559 was raised. At the Neon Night walk on 20 October R150 was raised.
CANSA Lephalale sold boerewors rolls and hamburgers at Srixzone’s Fun Day and R791,50 was raised.
CANSA would like to thank the community that is always prepared to support them. R14 303 was raised for CANSA Lephalale over the last couple of months.
