ALLDAYS — Police in Alldays received a tipoff about two suspects who bought alcohol using counterfeit money at Makgato village and that they were heading towards Musina via Alldays.
According to Warrant Officer Frans Mokoena, Lephalale SAPS spokesperson, police acted swiftly and arrested the two occupants travelling in a BMW vehicle on Saturday 8 April at 12:35 along Alldays to Pontdrift Road.
Police searched the suspects and vehicle and they found the total amount of R12 000 (R100 notes) counterfeit money inside the car and in possession of one of the suspects. Mokoena says most of the notes shared the same serial number.
