MARAPONG — Jimmy Motlogelwa (22) who escaped lawful custody from Lephalale Magistrate’s Court cells on Tuesday 11 October, was re-arrested in Marapong on Saturday night.
Motlogelwa, who was previously arrested on charges of sexual assault and business burglary, was spotted by a member of the public on a property next to Marapong Clinic who then summonsed the Lephalale Police.
According to WO Frans Mokoena, Lephalale Police spokesperson, he is now also charged for escaping out of lawful custody. At the time of going to press he was still being held in custody in Lephalale Police holding cells awaiting his court appearance.
