MORWE — On Thursday 8 March Eskom Matimba and its business partner Actom, worked jointly to deliver a mobile unit to Letupu Secondary School in Morwe 1.
Situated in the far north of Lephalale and a few kilometres from Sefitlhogo, Letupu is one of the schools in the village that needs a number of things including more classrooms and teachers’ offices.
Thursday’s delivery was not complete as Eskom says there will still be foundation work done by its partner, BKM, which also operates in Matimba.
Furthermore, there will be the installation of pipes and electrical wires that will see offices having air conditioners.
The mobile unit will act as an admin block with an office for the principal, deputy principal, a kitchen, toilets as well as a boardroom.
A formal hand over and the disclosure of amount used for this project will only follow later in the year after all the work has been done.
Letupu is part of schools adopted by Matimba.
