LEPHALALE — The newly retired Warrant Officer Peter Masipa (Manyosa) Mojela spent his last day in a SAPS office on Friday 7 December.
WO Mojela was born in the village Swarts in Gilead and he joined the former Lebowa Police on 4 July 1986. He did his training at Lebowa-Kgomo Training College.
He worked at Gilead police station at the Crime Prevention Unit and Community Service Centre. Afterwards he worked as member of the Public Order Policing (POP) Unit and also at Percy Five in Mokopane. He was also a member of Polokwane’s POP Unit.
During amalgamation in 1996, Lebowa Police were joined with Central and after restructuring he was transferred to Bochum where he was part of the Crime Prevention Unit.
His last move was to Lephalale where he worked at the POP Unit until his retirement at the age of 55 years.
His farewell celebration function was attended by Lt Col Tjale Petrus Mathe (his former SC), Lt Col Kwadi, Captain Lebelo (Unit commander) and Col Makhubela (his ORS Head).
His colleagues wished him well for this new period in his life.
