LEPHALALE — Lephalale SPCA offered free sterilizations in the light industrial area on Wednesday 18 January.
Pet owners took their pets to facilities offered by Vetus Schola next to the SPCA from 08:00 on Wednesday morning and a total of 47 animals were sterilized and puppies were bathed.
The SPCA thanks Dr Renee van Rheede Van Oudtshoorn, as part of the team of Community Veterinary Services of Southern Africa (CVSSA) as well as the rest of the team for teaching them what real teamwork is. This day was also a training and guiding process for the SPCA staff.
Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who offered to help in their own time as well as all the staff of Lephalale SPCA.
