Grobler’s Bridge success

GROBLER’S BRIDGE — Tom Burke SAPS are investigating a case of dealing in dagga after seven plastic bags containing dagga were found where is was hidden under the two front seats of an Audi A4.

According to Warrant Officer Frans Mokoena, Lephalale Cluster spokesperson, a police member of Grobler’s Bridge Port of Entry (POE) stopped the driver of the silver Audi A4 with registration number JRB 655 MP as he attempted to cross from South Africa to Botswana. Upon searching the vehicle, he found the seven bags.

Two SA citizens, the 29-year-old Frans Kgola and the 31-year-old Oupa Mabuza were arrested and 3 510 kg dagga to the value of R5 262 and the Audi A4 valued at R219 000 were confiscated.
