GA-SHONGOANE — Joel Mabula and members of the One Big Family Theatre Production (OBFTP) gathered at the house of Mr. Solomon Moruni, a 77-year-old man from Ga-Shongoane village who stays alone in his RDP house.
Mabula and a task team decided to help Moruni by cleaning his yard and house. They also bought water for Moruni, because he had no water to drink. According to Joel Mabula, a member of OBFTP, the situation at the house of Moruni was very bad – he had no-one to look after him, he had no food to eat or anything to drink.
On the afternoon of Monday 1 March members of OBFTP officially handed over some groceries to Moruni. Moruni told the group that he was attacked after he received his pension grant and the suspects ran away with his money. He thanked Joel Mabula and the members of OBFTP for helping him.
