LEPHALALE — A case of house robbery was opened after Jacob Chamunorwa, a Zimbabwian citizen, alleged that he and his wife were at his place of employment at Rietspruit 13 on Thursday 28 February when his wife saw the shadow of a person outside. They just finished bathing at 23:30 when his wife told him what she saw and he went outside to investigate.
He saw an unknown man who forced the door open whereafter he and two other suspects stole the couple’s groceries to the value of R300, a cash amount of R550 and two cell phones totalling to the value of R4 000.
The suspects fled the scene on foot.
A case of house robbery was opened at Lephalale SAPS.
The investigation continues.
