Hunting: controversial

VAALWATER — The Waterberg Nature Conservancy invites all Mogol Post readers to attend a discussion on hunting during their second quarterly meeting in Vaalwater on Thursday 21 April from 14:00 at the NG Church in Vaalwater.
“The subject of hunting will be riveting, informative and maybe even controversial but open for discussion during our meeting. We want to invite all members of the public to attend,” said Ken Maud, Chairperson of the Waterberg Nature Conservancy.
Peter Mills, Director of Environment and Conservation Cradle of Humankind, will discuss the subject “Putting hunting in context” and Adri Kitshoff-Botha, CEO of Wildlife Ranching South Africa (WRSA) and previous chairperson of PHASA, will discuss “To hunt or not to hunt – perceptions and realities.”
A local Vaalwater resident, Anthony Baber, will talk about hunting in the Waterberg.
There will be hot dogs on sale and a cash bar.
