WITPOORT — Lephalale Cluster held an Aids day event on Tuesday 27 November at the Thabo Mbeki hall in Witpoort. The event started at 11:00.
The event was attended by various stakeholders such as pastors, representatives of the Department of Health, SAPS, HIV/AIDS ambassadors, the South African National Defence Force (SANDF), Employee Health and Wellness (EHW) and the victim empowerment programme (VEP).
Attendees were urged to get tested for HIV/AIDS and to be responsible. They were also informed about the symptoms of TB. Various condoms and booklets were also distributed.
