Kyle’s 1st book published

LEPHALALE — Kyle McDonald (15), a Grade 10 learner at Hoërskool Ellisras and a member of the International Leadership Academy (ILA) recently announced that he is publishing a book compiled by him, titled Lephalale Teens got Talent.

The book presents the work of 233 talented teenagers that live throughout the Lephalale region.

The book’s content is a result of Kyle’s previous ILA project, a talent competition for teenagers. (Members of ILA have to run community projects as part of their membership.)

In an interview with Mogol Post with the announcement of his project and the prospect of a book, Kyle said: “I want to make the participants’ dreams a reality”.

The book, at R140 per book, is now available at PNA Store, Lephalale Square.

Kyle will be available at this store from 09:00–11:00 on Saturday 19 May should anyone wish to have their books signed by him.

If you are interested in buying this book, be sure to get to the store as soon as possible, as it is a limited edition and there are limited copies available.

“Kyle is 15 years old and in Grade 10 at Hoërskool Ellisras. He has one older brother and a single mother. We all live together. They never had it broad, but that does not matter to him at all. He always lives up to the high standards he sets and he believes in himself,” says his grandmother, Sophia Gil.
