LEPHALALE — Lowveld Bus Service (LBS) participated in the goodwill of 67 minutes on Wednesday 18 July at Lephalale Provincial Hospital.
Dr Mbako, CEO of the hospital, and Ms Molokomme, spokesperson, eagerly awaited the Lowveld employees at the gate to welcome them.
It was a mammoth task to clean the hospital grounds said Mrs Pepler from LBS, but after 80 black bags were filled with rubbish, a huge difference could be seen.
Dr Mbako said that the hospital has huge challenges as there are never enough people to do the job.
Lowveld Bus Service also organised with Annalize Burger for the garden service team of Murray & Roberts, under supervision of Chris Theron, to cut and clean the gardens.
Ms Molokomme said that the face of the hospital is from the gate all the way to the front door of the hospital and Dr Mbako is very happy because his hospital got a new “face lift” for Mandela Day.
