Lephalale depicted in play, dance, music

LEPHALALE — A fantastic audience, a topical and believable script with the focus on Lephalale, energetic and unpretentious acting, superb entertainment, a magical set. This is the perfect description for the successful theatrical production, “Lephalale the Musical”, which was held at the Mogol Club on Saturday 6 October.

The play tells the story, history, culture and heritage of Lephalale through live music, dance and acting and was presented by Evergreen Arts Centre with director Lebogang Mosima and Marina Moeta.

The script is written by Bafedile Masasa and the choreography was done by Kgothatso Thulake and Bafedile Masasa.

The team perfectly managed to let the characters live within the story of the plot with dynamic play, dance and music. This theatre production proves the unrivalled talent in the heart of Lephalale.

Their next two performances will be held at Polokwane Library Gardens on 26 October from 19:00 and in Bloemfontein in the Pacofs Theatre in the second week of November (date to be confirmed).
