LEPHALALE — An inquest case was opened at Lephalale SAPS on Tuesday 9 April after a bakkie fell on a farm worker. The incident occurred at a farm outside Lephalale.
Timeranashe Nunga, a 24-year-old Zimbabwean citizen, was assisting his employer to fix a vehicle on the farm.
Around 16:30 Nunga was under the bakkie, repairing something, when the bakkie suddenly fell on top of him, causing serious injuries. He was transported to hospital, but he died on his way to hospital.
Detectives are investigating the case.
