LEPHALALE — The Municipal Vehicle Testing Station in OR Tambo Road in Lephalale re-opened last week after it was closed for upgrading in June 2017.
The Testing Station has been refurbished and is fully equipped with modern vehicle testing equipment that complies with the South African National Standards.
The Station is open from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 15:00. Applications for testing of vehicles for roadworthiness should be lodged with the Registering Authority/Licence Office at the Civic Centre. The following application fees are payable for different categories of vehicles:
Bus – R198,00, Goods Vehicles including LDV’s, Trucks and Trailers – R174,00 and other vehicles including Sedans, Station Wagons and Hatchbacks – R138,00.
