GA-SELEKA — Flora Moatshe from the Boschdesche Village in Ga-Seleka went missing on 30 April 2017 and on 30 May she had still not been found. Her aunt, Fundiswa Moatshe calls on the community to come forward if anyone knows where she is. Fundiswa got an opportunity to talk to the community at Doves’ launch on Saturday 27 May where she pleaded the community to assist in the search for Flora.
According to Warrant Officer Frans Mokoena, Lephalale SAPS spokesperson, Steve Mfisa, allegedly her boyfriend was last seen with Flora and he stabbed her with a knife. Mokoena says witnesses of the incident told the police that Mfisa said he will never kill Flora. Fundiswa indicated that she is not so sure about that.
Mfisa appeared in Witpoort Magistrate’s Court on Monday 15 May on a charge of assault GBH and kidnapping and the case was postponed to Monday 12 June. Mfisa stays in the holding cells.
Anyone with any information in this case can contact Capt Mabote on 082 469 1079 or Warrant Officer Radipabe on 082 414 2279.
At Doves’ launch, the new directors of Doves, Michael Funani and Coenraad Strydom, offered a R2 000 reward for any information that could lead to Flora being found.
