CUMBERLAND — The police are looking for two rhino poachers who have killed and dehorned three rhinos at Bougasvlei Farm in the Cumberland area. The three rhino cow carcasses were noticed by farm workers after they saw vultures swirling in the sky.
It is alleged that the rhinos could have been poached between Sunday 18 June and Tuesday 20 June.
Warrant Officer Jurg van Heerden from the Limpopo Endangered Species Unit and the Local Criminal Record Centre attended the scene.
At the time of going to print, the suspects were still on the run and no arrests were made yet.
