LEPHALALE – Members of the Community Policing Forum (CPF) hosted a very successful hot dog stall in the Family Pick n Pay parking lot at Lephalale Square on Saturday 23 April.
The purpose behind the sales of the rolls was to raise funds for the Delta 1 service room to help ensure its future.
Thys Eloff, chairman of the Lephalale CPF, thanked each person in the community who contributed or made a donation. He made a special note of thanks to Coenie Groenewald from Pick n Pay for the donation of the wors for the occasion.
Eloff says it was the CPF’s first sale and a trial run – but it was a great success and they did well. The plan is to possibly hold two stalls a month and the dates will be announced through the Mogol Post in good time.
