Saying goodbye to Arthur

VAALWATER — Vaalwater and the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve are losing a valuable member of the Vaalwater Community.
Arthur Matodzi started working as an Environmental Officer in charge of Environmental Education and Environmental Awareness at the Biosphere Reserve in May 2013. He soon became an invaluable part of the team.
He will be sorely missed at Meetsetshehla Secondary School where he was very involved in the Enviro Club teaching students and taking part in trip organisations. He also attended the Lapalala Wilderness School with the club.
Matodzi has accepted a new position with the Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs, planning and development. His new position as Environmental Officer: Biodiversity Production is a completely new adventure for him.
