LEPHALALE — Lephalale Police and the K9 unit undertook a search and seize at a school in Marapong and they found one plastic bag filled with dagga, more than six cell phones, one carpet knife and an okapi knife.
According to W.O. Frans Mokoena, Lephalale SAPS spokesperson, this search and seize operation was done in the interest of the learners and for their own safety.
He says some of the items were handed in at lost and found at Lephalale SAPS. Other items (like cell phones) were handed over to the teachers and it is for them to decide what to do with them and whether they will give it back to the learners at the end of the year.
