LEPHALALE — Noise disturbance in Lephalale is totally out of hand, says Thys Eloff, Lephalale CPF Chairperson.
Mogol Post approached the CPF service room after the weekend of 28-30 June for statistics on the noise disturbance incidents reported before and during the weekend.
Residents of, among others, the following streets have been disturbed – Patrys, Tsessebe, Waterbok, Snuifpeul, Sandsteen, Sandveld, Blourand, Waterbessie, Sekelbos, Appelblaar and Oberholzer.
All the complainants alleged that the police didn’t respond to their complaints.
Mogol Post repeatedly tried to get hold of the police, but at the time of going to press, they were still unavailable for comment.
Mogol Post, however, previously discussed a similar issue with Col Ramakgoakgoa, Lephalale Police Station Commander, and he said the police can only act if a formal complaint is lodged at the station.
