Support the SPCA — pop in at 2nd Time Around

LEPHALALE – The local SPCA survives on donations received and money collected by volunteers. It is a selfless service given to the local community.
There are so many costs involved in looking after unwanted pets, some that have been saved, or are strays, or come from owners whose circumstances change and they land up at the SPCA. Once at the SPCA these animals have a second chance at being loved and making someone happy.
The SPCA shop, 2nd Time Around, was opened after the public cleared out their bags and cupboards to offer usable second hand goods at really good prices.
The SPCA also relies on the publics support of the shop, donations of your unused items will be gratefully received. It can be anything – books, clothes, toys, furniture, office items, things from the garage, linen, curtains, carpets, kitchenware etc.
Items can be dropped off at the shop from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 16:00 and on Saturday from 09:00 to 12:30. If you cannot drop the goods off please send an SMS to 083 656 6346 or 072 563 1840 and someone will come and collect from you.
The management of the SPCA say they do not only collect money for the animals but also offer a service to the community. People who are battling financially can now purchase good items at cheap prices from their shop.
Clothes that are not in a good state are repaired by volunteers or cut up to make blankets, for example.
Please visit the shop located in Bosveld Motors premises in Park Street.
