Vaalwater Boeredag for community

Vaalwater — Vaalwater will be hosting a special event known as the Vaalwater Boeredag on 25 and 26 November 2016. There will be many attractions and activities that will tailor various age groups and styles.
The Vaalwater Boeredag is a community project in which all surrounding towns like Modimolle, Bela-Bela, Lephalale etc. are involved.
The organisers are very confident that the event will reap the benefits from everyone’s contribution. All listed activities are run by members of the different communities to ensure the success of the project. The main goal of the event is to generate income and to give exposure to the Waterberg region around the town of Vaalwater.
The organising committee are gathering funds from Sponsors and donators to help support three children’s homes (The Fold, Huis Tekna and Amadea), especially for the coming festive season.
All proceeds from the lucky draw to be held on 26 November will go towards these children’s homes. The second and third prizes have been sponsored, but they are still in need of a first prize – a scooter is on the wish list.
Contributions are welcome, as the three children’s homes are in need of the following:
– Groceries
– Meat
– Toiletries
– Medication and baby requirements
– Cleaning materials
– Clothes
– Educational toys
– Stationery
Please note with the festive season approaching any of the above will be greatly appreciated. The three children’s homes currently have 90 children between them.
