GA RAPADI — A case of theft of a motor vehicle was opened at Villa Nora SAPS on Saturday 14 April.
According to Warrant Officer Frans Mokoena, Lephalale Cluster spokesperson, the complainant, Malesela Johannes Matlou, residing in Ga Rapadi Village, was sleeping when he heard noises outside.
The door of his house was forced open and three unknown men entered the house, went straight to his room and demanded his car keys and cash. One of them hit him over the head with a firearm, leaving him bleeding and dizzy.
The suspects searched his whole house until they found the car keys after which they drove away with his Toyota bakkie with an unknown registration number. Matlou’s ID book, SASSA card, driver’s license, as well as a cash amount of R11 600 were inside the vehicle.
The suspects are unknown and the investigation continues.
