Sanitech’s new addition

LEPHALALE — Sanitech received a new addition to their fleet in July 2016. The Iveco 4×4 pump truck will be utilized at various locations around Lephalale, servicing the mining industry, power line projects and rural and informal settlements. The vehicle is equipped with a 5 000 liter waste capacity, 1 000 liter clean water capacity and a high pressure hose to ensure that they have the correct equipment to tackle the challenges when servicing.
Sanitech is the market leader in South Africa when it comes to portable toilets and has a fleet of over 200 vehicles. They have opened a branch in Zambia and Botswana in 2016 and are currently starting up in Namibia, Swaziland and a couple more in Botswana. They are able to do big projects like Kusile where they currently have just shy of 2 000 portable toilets. Their underground mining toilets have proven to be a huge success at Mponeng (the deepest underground gold mine in the world – 4.7 km to be exact, where they have 220 toilets). Sanitech has also launched portable or modular waste water treatment plants that have proven to be a huge success. Sanitech is ISO 14001 and 18001 accredited
