Exciting golf news — Windhoek Lager International Pairs

LEPHALALE — International Pairs Worldwide saw its launch in 2016 with an overwhelming success.
The success of the tournament as a concept has been its simplicity and in enabling participating countries to hold qualifying events to identify pairs of ordinary club golfers to represent their country at the International Pairs World Final each year.
The next qualifying round at Mogol Club’s golf course for the largest pair’s competition for amateur golfers in South Africa will take place on 20 January 2018. This is one of the qualifying rounds for the Windhoek Lager world’s largest golf tournament for amateurs.
To participate you have to qualify at your club to proceed to the regionals. Winners will participate in the SA Finals in Windhoek, Namibia and can go through to represent South Africa at the World Finals in Portugal.
But that is not all. Top A, B and C division players, as well as the top lady who do not qualify for the WLIPSA regional qualifying event, will qualify for the South African Final of the Windhoek Lager Championship where up to ten other African countries partake.
Pairs can be made up out of any combination of two men, two ladies or mixed lady and man. No under 18’s are allowed to enter the competition.
