They were transported in an old truck which was spotted on the R510 near Zinzhoek Farm.

Mogol Post received information that they were allegedly hiding on Zinshoek Farm when the police found them. None of the eight females and 105 men had legal documents to be in the country, and they are all Malawian Nationals.

Warrant Officer Mbowni and Sergeant Manaka made the arrests.

With further investigation, it was established that these people are possibly part of a human trafficking syndicate. Foreigners are transported through the border posts to various destinations like Johannesburg and Durban where they are sold as sex slaves or sex workers.
