BULGERIVIER — Bulgerivier SAPS held their 16 Days of Activism against women and children at The Fold Children’s Home near Vaalwater on Thursday 8th December.
The purpose of the 16 day campaign was explained to the children so that they could understand why it is an annual event. They were also told that children are very important to SAPS.
According to Capt PZ Ramaotswa, Station Commander of Bulgerivier SAPS, the day was a resounding success. The children feasted on hot dogs and played on a jumping castle. Capt Ramaotswa said what made the occasion even more special is that members donated to it out of their own pockets. They are very grateful for the donation received from VIB.
