LEPHALALE — Residents Jared and Casey Sloan are the proud parents of newborn twins, Blayke and Drayke.
The couple, living in Onverwacht with their son, 9-year-old Blaize, say they are ready for this huge adjustment in their lives and are so happy that the twins are healthy. Casey said breastfeeding is not a problem, she has already sorted it out, and the best is to feed them at the same time.
Big brother Blaize, a learner at Laerskool Ellisras, was so excited about his brother and sister that his parents allowed him to stay at home on Tuesday so that he could meet them at Mediclinic Lephalale.
Granny Ursula Sloan came out from England for the birth and to assist with the two babies.
She now says she doesn’t know how she will be able to go back to her job as a caregiver in England after meeting the twins. She is going to stay in Lephalale for a while and get to know them a little better.
